Local 1179 has negotiated many great benefits for its members and their families that we are very proud of. Besides the medical, dental, optical and welfare plans detailed on the left side of this page the union has negotiated many other benefits. There are sick days, personal days, up to 12 paid holidays, liberal vacation time, uniform and shoe allowance, and bonus money just to name a few.
